Workflows

The permission required to access this page is "Manage Workflows".

A workflow is basically a way of getting notified via email when certain things happen. For example, let's say you want to be notified when any member updates their address in the system.

You would add a workflow with the following settings:

Then you would add a workflow step for each member you want to be notified.

Anything you add to the "Task Details" field is included in the email that is sent to them when a member updates their address.

When YOU cause a workflow to fire, you will NOT receive an email notification, only the other members in the other workflow steps will.
